Talk Radio Host Plans On "Invading" Top Secret Military Base Area 51 With Group Of Volunteers

in #news7 years ago

Heather Wade, the host of Midnight in the Desert, recently announced she plans to "invade" Area 51, a heavily guarded and closely monitored top secret military base, with a group of volunteers which will potentially number in the hundreds or even thousands.

On the radio program, she opened the phone lines and talked to numerous callers who both praised her courage for leading such a potentially dangerous quest and also criticized her "foolishness" for essentially walking into a trap that would inevitably result in a large fine and jail time - or even harm.

Wade explained she plans to head to the area, which is located near Rachel Nevada, sometime in June, and stated it would be an overnight event where at a certain time, which currently remains unknown, she (and possibly others) will cross the forbidden line that separates public and government owned property and make her way towards the base, capturing whatever she can on film.

A few callers asked her why she plans to embark on such a dangerous journey. Her answer appeared to be multi-faceted: she essentially wants the world to know the truth about what is occurring, or has occurred, at the base (especially Americans, since their tax dollars go towards funding its operation). Wade also wants to prove to naysayers, once and for all, that many of the various reports of strange activity, which include UFO and odd aircraft sightings, are in fact real.

The highly classified base is officially called Homey Airport (ICAO: KXTA) or Groom Lake.

According to Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Area_51):

"The Groom Lake test facility was established in April 1955 by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) for Project Aquatone, the development of the Lockheed U-2 strategic reconnaissance aircraft.

"As part of the project, the director, Richard M. Bissell, Jr., understood that, given the extreme secrecy enveloping the project, the flight test and pilot training programs could not be conducted at Edwards Air Force Base or Lockheed's Palmdale facility. A search for a suitable testing site for the U-2 was conducted under the same extreme security as the rest of the project."

Other aircraft developed at Area 51 included Lockheed's A-12 reconnaissance aircraft for the CIA, which was a precursor to the SR-71 Blackbird, and the F-117 Nighthawk.
