A headline in the Washington Post reads: "There are no grounds for a special counsel to investigate Hillary Clinton". Further on in the article is stated that "It’s especially worrying given the absurdity of the matters that committee Republicans would like to see addressed". The Washington Post is using the usual frame. The alleged crimes committed by the Clinton family is simply turned down as absurd. It would be no surprise that CNN is using the same tactic to downplay the upcoming investigation, by calling the new special council ridiculous.
The list of 'absurd and ridiculous' topics to be investigated includes the handling of the FBI investigation of the full Hillary Clinton’s private email server used during her time as Secretary of State, various affairs of the Clinton Foundation, and most importantly, the role of the Clinton Foundation Sale of the Canadian mining company Uranium One to Russia’s Atomic Energy Agency. The role of former FBI director James B. Comey in protecting Hillary is also fair game for investigation.
The Hillary Clinton Foundation is on paper a charity, and as a public organization it gets tax benefits. But most likely the foundation is not serving the public interest, but the interest of the Clinton Family. A real absurd fact is that a big lottery in the Netherlands is funding this alleged criminal foundation since 2005 with millions of euros a year. A ridiculous total amount of 25,9 million Euros has been transferred into the Clinton Foundation in the past 12 years. And it still continues! In the Netherlands the media and even the government are really biased. Positive news item about President Trump are rarely found, at least not in the mainstream newspapers, radio and television. Vice versa with Hillary Clinton, journalists won't dare to mention something negative about her. Or simply doing their job as journalist and report the facts. It's all an illusion they're selling. Sometimes i meet with journalist in the Netherlands, there are really a lot of them here, and they can't see through their own collectively created news bubble. It's truly amazing.
