Apple has always been a shameless money grab of a company and this type of behavior from them is not surprising at all. It's also not surprising that they have an excuse for this. I also have no doubt that other Android manufacturers are doing the exact same thing as I've had smartphones go to shit in the past right after a software update.

Yeah, phones in general tend to do that. But I think if the manufacturers are doing it deliberately then they need to be upfront about it.
They are doing it deliberatelly, you can be sure.
