With the gridiron now an actual battlefield two people are very happy.
Donald Trump who forced the league to double down on a losing bet.
Colin Kaepernick, team-less and with little hope for a return.
Okay.. Here comes the lumbering irony: Professional sports exist to promote national and regional pride and unity amongst the general population. A critic may point out that often that pride is manipulated into a conflation between 'we the people' and the 'US Military' for the purpose of selling war (see: Iraq 1&2).
So.. The US President is trying to dismantle one of the main military propaganda tools.
As.. The League and players attempt to dismantle race relations and civil society.
Hmmm..
While it's fun to watch videos of ex-fans burning jackets and jerseys the real enjoyment I get, from the 'NFL v Society' match, is seeing people set fire to the entire cult of celebrity that would otherwise be used as a weapon of propaganda to rally against N.Korea (or whomever). Now that the NFL is a blatant propaganda tool to rally Americans against each other and stoked by millionaire crybabies we can see the NFL for what it is.. and TURN AWAY... #DOSOMETHINGELSE #NFLBOYCOTT

Every player who didn't stand for our National Anthem is a disgrace. The flag represents our country, not President Trump.
As we all know, soldiers are defending our flag at this moment for these cry babies. I think the government should end all tax subsidies for the NFL and subsides soldiers instead. I don't want my tax dollars paying for NFL subsidies. Our soldiers pay taxes and the NFL should also pay taxes.
What a disgrace.
Thank you.
Nice take. I did't think about it like that...lol
