Creepy or Cool? Snapchat Update

So Snapchat apparently just recently released an update that allows you to track your friends locations. I have yet to update the app myself, but has anyone else out there done the update recently?

I used to really think that the location filters were a cool way to share with friends while on vacation but in my opinion, the new update has taken it too far. Might be an awesome way to catch a cheating significant other though!
What are your thoughts on this new update? Yay or nay?
