The Intermarche group works in France to create a store dedicated to seniors. Interestingly, they invited a group of older residents from the French city of Flers to collaborate on the design process.
The store would start in one of the local shopping centers. As the representatives of the network have declared, its offer is to be the most suited to the needs of seniors. Hence the action in which a dozen or so Flers residents took part.
The seniors, for example, indicated the willingness to learn tips on the principles of healthy eating or various workshops. They also called for a high level of consultancy during shopping. Participants of social "consultations" also paid attention to the willingness to participate in special workshops, even if you would have to pay extra for them.
Work on the concept has been ongoing for a year. The store can start already in September this year.
