people believe 9/11 and human caused climate change. they'll believe aliens, shiva or fairies in a fog bank. i could name 50 things that people believe in that are physically impossible and known to be so. all that is needed is a majority, then most of the rest will fall in line after that. hell, they'd probably set off nukes, to fight the "aliens",if they thought it would sell the story.

i keep thinking there has to be something the people just won't believe if the authorities tell them, but i don't know how much longer i'm going to try to believe it.
