Recently, the WalletHub Personal Finance site has researched the new acquisitions announced to the US Securities and Exchange Commission by 400 hedge funds and billionaires.

Among the purchases, the names of thousands of public companies are reported, but only a few of them are present in most of the well-known investors' portfolios.

Here are the three top choices of five billionaires, who also make up the biggest percentage of their investment:

Apple

The company is now ranked first among the biggest investments of Warren Buffett. His Berkshire Hathaway continues to increase his stake in the technology giant and has already reached nearly $ 29.2 billion.

Big deals on the position are David Tepper of Appaloosa Management, the site reports that in the last quarter, Apple is the biggest purchase on the part of both billionaires.

According to latest data, Apple accounts for 15.8% of Buffett's $ 185 billion. The Omaha Oracle already owns 3.26% of the company's capital.

Facebook

We have to mention Tepper here too, as the social network accounts for 9% of his fund's portfolio, thus occupying second place, leaving only Micron Technology (10.5%)

Mondelez International

Investments of the Nelson Pelt Trian Funds in the company already account for 15.4% of its assets, amounting to 12.5 billion dollars, according to latest data.

Another big investor, Bill Akman, today owns 23.3 million shares of Mondelez International, making it the largest holding of its Pershing Square Capital Management.

The total assets of the fund today are 5.8 billion dollars, and the shares owned by the company are estimated at just under $ 1 billion, or 16.9% of its assets.
