Paycent have laidout their plans from the very beginning which starts with acquiring regulatory licenses to building the Asian Blockchain Institute of technology (ABIT) which may become the very first Blockchain Institute. All of these will be discussed in this article series and may also be the last.
Acquiring Regulatory Licences - because paycent is going to be a dual e-wallet and because of the current state of the crytospace where regulation of crypto related services/product are being pushed, it is a must to have them settled (good initiative by Paycent) before starting the ICO. This is to make sure that there won't be any hindrances from the governments when Paycent starts operating. Paycent already have UAE and Philippines licenses and waiting for approval in Singapore and Hongkong.
Bank - Paycent is on talk and plans to merge 2 tier 2 banks from the Philippines. Because Paycent will have their own debit/credit cards, there's no better way to issue those by acquiring an existing bank instead of working with a 3rd party one. The acquisition will start on 2nd quarter of 2018
Exchange - setting up their own exchange will help increase number of transactions within the Paycent ecosystem which is going to be one of the source of interest to token holders. This will begin on 2nd quarter of 2019
ABIT - ABIT or Asian Blockchain Institute of Techonlogy is going to be the first of is kind because of its focus which is on Blockchain Technology. Together with some of the elite universities of Asia and Pacific, Paycent plans to construct ABIT within the Philippines. Land Acquisition will start on Fourth quarter of 2020.
This is an ongoing series of articles that focuses on paycent, a payment method that utilizes the blockchain technology, and the things that it has to offer that lines with its slogan “Bridging the gap between cryptocurrency and fiat”.
