Photo shared by a friend of some of the unbelievable devastation in Texas. This is a picture of I-10 near Winnie, TX.

A friend of mine on Facebook recently posted this picture and it blew me away.

I knew the effects of Hurricane Harvey were devastating, but this photo seems to depict a flood of almost Biblical proportions. These people need our help. DON'T COMPLY is a group that assists in situations like this where government is often slow and/or inefficient at doing so. They have a Pay Pal set up, but crypto is much more convenient for me, and I appreciate it because there is no middleman. A fellow anarchist who is part of the relief effort let me know that there is also a Bitcoin donate address.

These guys almost never take donations, and when they do, post pics of all the receipts. Money will first be going to pay for their boat fuel, and anything past that will be used for food, water, blankets, shelter, and other expenses.

The BTC address above is strictly a flood relief fund address. If you have any questions feel free to contact Don't Comply via their Facebook page or website.

I keep hearing more and more stories about how people are losing their homes. The beauty of Steem/crypto is that we can help directly.

ALL SBD REWARDS FOR THIS POST WILL BE CONVERTED TO BTC AND DONATED TO THE DON'T COMPLY RESCUE EFFORTS.
