This isn't the first time people have tried to divide the State of California...by as many as 4 separate states in previous attempts.
The latest is by two guys that seem very confident in being able to get this done within the next two years.
I'm guessing they don't like the idea of legalizing marijuana.
Maybe if they use #Steemit and #dtube to promote their "movement" they might be able to gain some traction.
