  1. THAMMASAT UNIVERSITY MASSACRE, THAILAND

    In Thailand this event was mostly known as THE 6 OCTOBER EVENT, it was an attack by the Thai state forces and far-right paramilitaries on student protesters on the campus of Thammasat University and the adjacent Sanam Luang Square in Bangkok, Thailand , on 6 October 1976.
    The picture was taken by Neil levitch. It shows the members of some political parties striking the lifeless body of a hung student outside the Hamasaki University in Bangkok. This picture won the Pulitzer Prize in 1977.

    Ukrainian town of Vinnytsia, a Nazi paramilitary force is about to shoot a Jewish man who is kneeling before a filled mass grave in Vinnitsa, Ukraine in 1942. German forces massacred all twenty-eight Jews from Vinnitsa.

  3. THE ABU GHRAIB PRISON

    This prison was built by British contractors in the 1950s, in Abu Ghraib an Iraqi city west of Baghdad. It was used as a detention for detention purposes by both the U.S occupying iraq and the Iraqi government, until it was completely shutdown in 2010 after In 2004 pictures of prisoners being abused by the US military personnel in Iraq Abu Ghraib prison was given to journalist Seymour Hersh and the CBS News TV show made public amongst photographers of prisoners of wars.

  4. THE SAIGON EXECUTION

    This famous photograph was taken by Eddie Adams which captures the momemt when Vietnamese Gen. Nguyen Ngoc Loan, chief of the national police, fires his pistol into the head of suspected Vietcong officer Nguyen Van Lem also known as Bay Lop, on a famous Saigon street on February 1, 1968 for killing the wife and six children of a South Vietnamese military officer Lieutenant Colonel Nguyễn Tuan.
