US REAPER DRONE DATA LEAKED ON DARK WEB

Hello friends, I would like to write this blog to give you information and new news about the US drone whose data is leaked on Dark Web a hacker penetrated an Air force captain’s computer to steal sensitive information about US military drones, this news is according to the new research by cyber security investigators.

The documents include a private list of airmen working with MQ-9A Reaper drones and maintenance and course material on the weapons. However US law enforcement is investigating the breach. It is said that the researchers have “high degree of confidence” and the hacker is from South America and investigation is going on. The attack is latest in a long line in the military and other sectors, including a hack which was done on a navy contactor that exposed a large amount of data on submarines and undersea weapons.

The data of US drones which was hacked by a hacker tried to sell the documents on the ”Dark Web” which is not possible for public to search. It was said that the data was sold on dark web for just $150 only. I was shocked after reading this news that US military data was leaked and USA is said to be one of the most powerful nations in the world. The hacker told researchers they stole additional military training manuals on explosive devices, a tank operation manual ,the hacker told that they accessed the material on captain’s computer by using a vulnerability in Netgear router for which security researchers said that these netgear routers are vulnerable to attack if owners don’t update the password.

Daily these type of news are coming and hackers are hacking data and selling it on dark web.Nowadays keeping data secret is becoming very difficult I have heard same news about india too a long time ago that a hacker hacked the data of Aadhar cards of every indian and post it online for some time as a proof I think government should take steps to stop this and assign some experienced programmers to keep our data safe otherwise this will happen again and again and anybody can use our data in wrong ways.
