Liverpool got their campaign back on track with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Huddersfield Town at Anfield this afternoon.
Huddersfield proved difficult to break down during the first half and Liverpool wasted the perfect opportunity to take the lead as Mohamed Salah missed a penalty shortly before half-time.
However, the Reds eventually opened the scoring shortly after the break as Daniel Sturridge scored with a fine finish to make it 1-0 with what was his 100th career club goal.
It was 2-0 just minutes later as Roberto Firmino powered home a header from a 58th minute corner to put Liverpool in total control and the hosts made it 3-0 as Gini Wijnaldum lashed home.
Liverpool eased to the 3-0 win that sees them climb up to sixth in the Premier League table and just three points off the top four.
