Screw the Script, Antifa are Fake Opposition
Donald Trump showed real courage at the now famous press conference where he said what everyone is thinking. One side was deplorable and the other was looking for a fight. Trump knew that Charlottesville was a trap, you can see it on his face as he spars with reporters, saying things he’s been told by his ‘handlers’ not to say.
But he said them anyway.
And the lame virtue-signaling across the chattering punditocracy has reached a fever pitch.
The facts of the day were pretty damning. Pax Dickinson laid it out in his blog on the Daily Caller the other day. In short, Governor Terry McAuliffe ordered a State of Emergency to disband the rally and the Virginia State Police forced the attendees directly into the baseball bat and bags of urine Antifa brought for just such an occasion.
That’s what happened.
And it was nothing more than a setup to put Trump in the position he finds himself in now. He could either disavow a great swath of his base, bowing to cheap political gamesmanship that left people injured and dead, or he could be accused of backing neo-Nazis.
He did nothing of the sort and anyone with brain cells still functioning in their heads knows this.
The fact that we’ve reached this point in our discourse is an indictment of everything about our society.
This is truly who we are not supposed to be.
A bunch of reductionist, noradrenaline-addicted junkies, obsessed with identity politics and virtue-signaling who are making excuses for a bunch of white-middle class kids in black masks beating up a peaceful congregation of odious people.
Our laws and our traditions as Americans were supposed to point to our better angels.
But, no. We are now at the point of excusing physical violence for holding an idea. And the people in the media, the Repug-lican and Democratic parties, who are attacking Trump for saying that there is blame aplenty are now morally culpable for what comes next.
“It Can’t Happen Here”
For most of my life I have argued with liberal friends that what happened in China and other places we studied can and will happen here. They steadfastly refused to accept that argument.
But, we’re here now. Our political class is out there excusing Antifa and Black Lives Matter for their behavior because it is now, “right and proper” to beat up Nazis in America. Not laugh at them and go about our business.
No. Beat them up, violating their civil rights. It’s okay to violate the personal rights of people you disagree with.
That holding an idea in your head is violence.
That holding the wrong political ideology means you deserve not to make a living, c.f. Google.
That shameful periods in our history have to be eradicated in the name of ideological purity. I can tell you that there are very few people in this country ready and willing to be frog-marched to the next Cultural Revolution by a bunch of emotionally-stunted twenty-somethings and their enablers in the power structure.
These things don’t work when the peasants have guns.
It’s sad to say that it’s come to this but this is not going to end well. Antifa and other groups like it are being stoked to violence, bussed in to be martyrs in the Oligarchy’s desperate attempts to hold onto power and bring about a One World Government.
Oh, but it is Happening
Trump stood up at that press conference, went off-script, and told his people, the middle-class which is becoming further left behind by a generation of sanctimonious Baby-Boomers’ grand plans of social engineering, that he’s not going down without a fight.
And it will work. Trump is at his best when he shoots from the hip and lets his passions fly.
It infuriates a cowering class of media-obsessed whores in Washington who value image more than truth. Trump knew what he was doing when he condemned Antifa. He knew it might cost him in the short run.
It might even cost him getting impeached as everyone in Washington abandons him.
But, he did it anyway. And now, more than last week, I feel that if this were to happen things in this country will explode to a level of violence we’ve not seen since Robert E. Lee.
I sincerely hope it doesn’t come to that. But, given the egregious behavior of everyone involved in taking down Trump, I no longer have any doubts about the depths of their depravity.
Great article well said. Up voted and re-steemed.
If there was only a way to reach the brainwashed sheeple that are going along with the Soros/media agenda.
It's happening. Google is doing more to red-pill people than we ever will. They don't realize what they are going to unleash. Once Trump beats back this impeachment bullshit, Google is going down for anti-trust violations and restraint of trade over YouTube and its app store shenanigans...
Tim Cook better watch himself with Apple as well. Same deal.
Many other companies should be included in that. Web hosting companies for canceling accounts based on ideology. AirBnB for canceling people based on their beliefs. Paypal canceling accounts of anyone to the right of Stalin. Patreon. GoFundMe. On and on and on. They can't do that to a peaceful Muslim based on his beliefs and the actions of others, but they CAN do it to a "Nazi" who never hurt anyone? No. Hell no. The 1st Amendment protections need to be EXTENDED, not limited.
Good stuff! Almost as if the media has a mission of dividing us! Weird!
Keep up the goodness, resteemed and followed.

One of the things I like about Trump is that yes he seems like a capitalist and he is but he has compassion. He is using capitalism responsibly. America is on the rise because they are using the positives from Western capitalism (by Western i don't mean europe necessarily but more UK and US) and the positives from Eastern Europe and the ideals of socialism. Those socialist ideals are great but have not been implemented successfully.
Trump is able to do so amazingly by smart, businesslike economics. I can't believe what I am seeing @goldgoatsnguns. I was always anti never Trump but now really starting to like the guy.
The problem with the word 'capitalism' today is that it does not accurately describe what 'capitalism' is. The political left has very carefully equated capitalism with corporatism... the merging of state and private enterprises.
Capitalism is simply the free exchange of goods and services without interference through force. Trump is no angel in this respect. He is a mercantilist, which is a form of corporatist that is targeted on generating national wealth through protection barriers and a cheap currency... this is a form or "rent" as we discussed in a different thread.
That said, Trump does have a big heart and is truly a capitalist in the traditional sense of creating wealth for all through his entrepreneurial ventures. Everyone I know who knows him personally or who have worked for him says this is absolutely true.
I have mixed feelings about Trump, because I think his grasp of fundamental economics is weak, but his entrepreneurial instincts are unmatched for a modern politician.
In short, he will do a lot of good and some bad along the way.. At least he's not a doctrinaire socialist like Obama. If you want to understand why socialism is fundamentally flawed, read Ludwig Von Mises' 'Socialism: An Economic and Sociological Analysis". Available for free from the Mises Institute.

Thanks, why do you say the left has equated capitalism with corporatism? Hillary Clinton seems like the ultimate corporatist to me.
She is, and many on the Left hate her, saying she's a right wing Fascist... hence the Bernie Sanders movement.
Listen to Sanders and Corbyn (in the u.k.). they are classic marxists who see corporatism as a natural outgrowth of capitalism. When the choice is quite the opposite. Corporatism can only exist within the framework that they advocate, complete dominance of the state.
they are two sides of the same coin... or the same side of two coins... it matters not. Both are totalitarian.
I heard this one guy say once, I think it was Robert Kiyosaki, that the government wants you to work for a big corporation because that way you pay the most tax.
So interesting what you say about Sanders and Corbyn. Never thought about it that way but kind of makes up a missing piece of the puzzle for me.
At my shared office space CNN is on the whole time.
This is a weird one. I do not / cannot, trust in Trump. Things are too controlled, to many coincidences, too much black budget that Trump is "a good guy". For me, the only indicator that he is a good guy would be for him to take a drive through Dallas... in an open topped car... Which would only prove things after the fact.
Anyway, with too much evidence that both sides were paid and instigated to be in Charlottesville, and the police were told to stand down and then push the two groups into close proximity. Its all a bad setup.
And if the MSM had any journalists left, they would be looking into the allegations that Charlottesville was a setup. All we have now is rumors and a few (supposed) testimonies.
Anyway, avoid all of these groups. And work at building your community. It is people that actually know you that will defend you when the groups come to say that you are unamerican / Nazi / Capitalist / Fascist / bad-thought-thinker when just the accusation may mean a gulag sentence.
See my post from yesterday that Charlottesville was, in fact, a setup.

But more importantly, you don't have to trust Trump. I don't. Just accept that he's a mixture of good and bad, and believe in his patriotism, which I feel is absolutely genuine. How he expresses that patriotism, however, is the problem.
He's an agent of change and for that alone, I want him right where he is.
I read every word you had to say. I am on your side!! Sometimes, I feel afraid. I pray, love and trust Jesus to help me and my husband know what to do when. I'm learning the Lost Ways...the pioneer ways...all I can learn before the lights go out. My husband doesn't get as excited emotionally as I do and he stand guard. Thank God I have all these huge warrior angels protecting me at all time!!!! Psalm 91:11 They have swords...big big swords!!!!! Praise God and Save the USA!!! My great grandfather's last name was Lee. And I am porcelain white....with a few freckles..lol Thanks for the post....Even tho it stirred fear in me it was a healthy fear...I'll follow you on here..I'm having a hard time finding folks on steemit. Thanks for the post.
You are welcome. Peace
They may have to set a daily bag limit on Antifa's if the "enablers" aren't careful.
I don't think the Dept of the Interior can be of any help labeling them as a protected species once the silent majority gets fed up enough.
I'm not a fan of Trump in policy or some of his ideas on war and criminal justice. But I doe enjoy what he represents to the mindless mob and Establishment criminals.
There's lots to not like about Trump. No doubt. Anarcho-capitalist, here. I have a lot I disagree with. But, as a political analyst who has to put on his Big Boy Pants and read the realipolitik everyday to figure out what's happening? Trump is, on balance, a good thing.
...precisely for the reason you stated.
Well put Tom. I think you struck a chord on that one.
I think it deserves to be restated that violence is exactly the desired result of those pulling the strings. Do you see how desperately they were hanging on that one death they managed to manufacture? The martyr. While 9 people were killed in Chicago alone that same weekend.
As you state in your profile - the only way to beat them is to not play their game. Something inside me, the not so good part, yearns for some payback - for the elites, for the complicit media, even for the mindless antifa pawns, lost souls that they may be.
But to do so would play right into their hands, and give them exactly what they want.
I agree about wanting to strike back. It's why I live where I do, the way I do.
Chronicling their evil everyday is soul-crushing, to be honest. But, it has to be done. I will do what I can to the best of my ability and hopefully, change a few minds along the way.
And if it means getting out of the way, it means getting out of the way.
The first thing you learn in a good self-defense class is to not put yourself in a situation where you will have to defend yourself. Situational awareness is the key to surviving.
Because we win 100% of the fights we don't get involved in.
No one said taking apart the deep state would be easy. When both sides of the aisle and 95% of the world is against the POTUS, you know he is over the flack !!!!!
You know the measure of a man in politics by his enemies. Everyone in power hates Trump. Therefore, he's on the right track.
So, is Putin, btw. For the same reasons.
Could not have said it better myself !!!!!!!!
I am the Great Cornholio! Would you like to see my portfolio? I have a portfolio in my bunghole, with my óleo!
Very well said! People are completely misinformed if they are not watching the president's speeches live. AND the press briefings. They put it all on YouTube live. No excuse to ignore it. They leave it all up.
The press twists every single word. I don't even recognize the news coverage that comes out of the press briefings. It's certainly not what was actually communicated during the briefing.
If I go on, I'll write an entire post.
In the mean time, would you please help me with this ... Ohhh ! Look ! You might be able to get better upvotes from me! But you have to help!
There's not much time left in my round in The Minnow Accelerator Project contest. Be sure to read the post as The Minnow Accelerator Project is most definitely something you and anyone you are encouraging should look into. ... most definitely if you think people are better than bots.
And thanks bunches!
And furthermore .....
Sigh
I'm not afraid of impeachment. I'm praying constantly for his safety and his family's safety!
