LG announce their 34UC89G-B Ultra wide G-Sync display
LG has announced a new gaming-oriented desktop display, the 34-inch 34UC89G-B, which comes with a 21:9 aspect ratio and is compatible with Nvidia's G-Sync technology.
This display comes with a 144Hz refresh rate and an IPS panel, offering a native resolution of 2560x1080. While this resolution is pretty low for a 34-inch display, it will allow games to run at high framerates with more modest PC hardware, which is arguably more important for a lot of PC gamers.
The 34UC89G-B will come with a single DisplayPort 1.2 connection and HDMI 1.4a connectivity, with a three-way USB 3,0 passthrough on the rear of the display.
At this time LG has not announced the price of this display, though it set to release in mid-July.
