The European Union Supports England against Russia

The European Union (EU) has declared total support to Britain about the conflict between Britain and Russia. Where the British accused Russia of attacking the former Russian intelligence and his daughter by using Novichok chemical weapons.

EU diplomats warned that there was no immediate prospect of new economic sanctions against Russia. But the established EU foreign ministers do offer strong verbal support.

They say that attacking using nerve agents is the first time on European soil for 70 years. This will be a clear violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention, which is the protection of the Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). "It's a security threat for all of us."

Before meeting with his EU counterparts in Brussels, UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said that Russia's rejection of responsibility increasingly unreasonable. "This is a classic Russian strategy to try to hide the needle of truth in a haystack of lies and confusion, they do not fool anyone anymore,"

"There are hardly any countries around here in Brussels that have not been affected in recent years because of inhuman or intrusive Russian behavior," he added.

Meanwhile, Russia deplored the EU's comments against the former British intelligence exiled in Britain. "This situation, of course, does not bring honor to the EU's general foreign policy,"

he said in a statement.
Former Russian intelligence Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yuliana were found lying on a park bench in Salisbury, England. Now both are in critical condition at the hospital.
