FUTURE U.S. B-21 BOMBER RELEASE COMPETING WITH CHINA'S H-20

in #news3 years ago (edited)

The new U.S. Air Force has recently shown some images of the latest design of the B-21 Raider Stealth Long-range nuclear bomber in California during a test run at an Edwards air force base before taking operations around the world.

The Raiders' image was shown by a military media outlet in his post that appeared to squat with a slimmer body shape compared to his larger brother B-2 Spirit.

Both stealth Raiders are the production of American defense technology company Northrop Grumman.
One of the world's largest arms manufacturers and military technology providers already has 90,000 employees with annual revenues of more than $30 billion. -

Earlier in 2020 U.S. state officials had warned against publishing more details about the B-21 in order to protect the security of The King's secret technology of future bombers to the world.

And it turns out that the images scattered today are not like the design concept in the previous photo released last year. The latest release photos circulating show a clearer beak at the front of the plane and next to the main cockpit window showing an additional small tilt window.

Comparing the B-21 and B-2 Spirit, the Raider B-21's shape is slightly curved inside the fuselage often called the Chine and looks slimmer than the B-2 Spirit which has the potential to reduce the radar cross-section of the aircraft.

Actually starting from last year, the U.S. Air Force has released as many as 3 new aircraft,

The second B-2 is housed at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri.

Then the third B-1 is at Dyess Air Base, Texas.

All three spots are expected to host the Raiders.

Under the plan, the U.S. Air Force will buy about 100 new Bomber Raiders to replace its cousin the B-2 and B-1 fleets that are scheduled to retire in early mid-2030.

Even some top U.S. defense officials estimate that the service requires 220 Bomber Raiders overall.

Switch in price topics !
Arms Technology company Northrop received the B-21 contract in 2015 for $21.4 billion with the U.S. Air Force . It is estimated to cost $550 million per aircraft.

But in its latest fact sheet, the U.S. Air Force says the average cost of the B-21 is $639 million.

In response to this fact, Richard Aboulafia Vice President and Analyst at Teal Group explained that $ 639 Million is the total purchase price per aircraft and does not include Raiders combat support equipment.

ni is a fixed price contract, which means that any excess costs are borne by the contractor to be borne, so "most of the risk is borne by [Northrop Grumman]," Aboulafia said

  • That's a little bit of information about the latest release of the U.S. Air Force's B-21 which is estimated to be the result of a design marriage between the B-1 and B-2. Raider nuclear bomb of the future has been upgraded even the production demand by a large amount, Whats the matter ?
