Finally Dragon Ball Super higher ranked than One Piece ranking

Rating anime Dragon Ball Super beat One Piece. Is this the effect of lord Frieza's return?

There's always a new anime title every year, but few anime survive and even have a high rating despite releases of up to tens or even hundreds of episodes-including Dragon Ball Super and One Piece. If we talk about popularity, of course the One Piece anime is more popular as it gets always get a higher rating than the Dragon Ball Super anime. However, it looks like it has now changed because it seems that Dragon Ball Super beat One Piece.

In an average rating program in Japan, Dragon Ball Super finally beats One Piece. It was recorded after the 94th Dragon Ball Super episode released and earned a 6.3% rating-higher than the One Piece rating of 5.8%. Both are aired on the same day and the same hour. Only, Dragon Ball Super and One Piece are not the top two titles. Older anime titles such as Sazae-san, Chibi Maruko-Chan and Doraemon are still ranked as the highest rated anime.

Even so, the achievement of Dragon Ball Super can be quite good considering its own animenya never get criticized because of bad animation at the beginning (but now it's getting better).

This rating upgrade itself could be due to the return of one of the fans' favorite antagonists, Frieza, or also because of the appearance of "Broly". On the other hand, it may be that soon the Dragon Ball Super enters a new Arc that is simply exciting Universe Survival Arc, where every Universe there must fight with each other or their world is threatened to be destroyed if lost.
