You speak about the "partisan downvote", and all the retribution, and all the revolting threats. I think it's right to break the law of silence here and mention it. I approve and encourage you, a lot.
There are bad intended guys with all power, and using it, and not even seeing what limitation there is in their power. They could have been anywhere but they just ended with more power; like a "negative morality valuation system" which has been applied here.
Today it's our freedom, but apparently it could be your security too.
I admit I sometimes restrain myself from saying what disturbs me in something, because even if it revolts me, I am afraid of partisan downvotes. I don't want that habit to be part of HIVE.
With many creators migrating to HIVE, I believe it's possible to settle a "positive creativity valuation" here. We are here with everyone capable of being part of that culture.
It's important to recognize that freedom is intrisic to security. This is the basis for Franklin's aphorism that folks willing to give up freedom for security will have neither.
