Today is the international falafel day. Personally, I am not a big falafel fan, but in my city more and more shops open which offer the Arab cuisine and my circle of friends really like it. So I thought, I mention this in a post.
What is a falafel anyway?
A falafel consists essentially of beans or kircher peas that are pureed and then fried. Add herbs and spices and you're done with fast food. The dish is usually served with hummus, a few vegetables and a thin flatbread, also called pita.
How do you like the falafel? Or do you also prefer the kebab, like me? ;)
What is the origin of this dish? It looks tasy AF. I'd love to wash it down with a Imperial Stout. I think the two who complement each other very nicely.
