With all the security issues and the latest push to go away from apps, BlackBerry made a mistake with going to the Android platform and abandoning BB10. But, since they were never good at marketing, they wouldn't have figured out a way to get back without making the sacrifice.

My Passport will most likely be my last BlackBerry phone. I can't see the point of paying US$500 for a phone that will last 2 years. The phone as it is now, will probably be dead within a decade.
