What is not being reported is the manner in which the Fed manipulates the economy. Eventually, we will pay dearly for that manipulation, just as we did in 2008-2009.
Lies, damned lies, and statistics, right? Both sides play this game. The statistics that the Bureau of Labor Statistics churns out are often meaningless.

Yep, I've been banging on (in other places) for ages now about the meaninglessness of the unemployment figure. How meaningful a representation of employment do people think it is going to be when it counts 1 hour per week (or is it per fortnight) as being "employed". True under-employment is usually double to triple the official unemployment stat.
