I really wonder if politicians think that the majority of people, they are supposed to represent, are that stupid?
Though sometimes ... I am not sure if they aren't correct in assuming this stupidity. Of course the public isn't always informed correctly, sometimes even more often incorrectly. But then again, others are still able to get the necessary information some other way.
I guess the real problem is lazyness (combined with stupidity).
