Hi everyone!
I am really happy to inform about a huge success of a clean-up initiative that took place all over the Czech Republic last weekend. The initiative was called "Ukliďme Česko" which would translate as "Let´s clean up Czechia" and its aim was to make people go out and pick trash in nature.

This initiative has been held annually since 2014 and this year, it was focused on old car tires that are often dumped in nature where they cause serious environmental problems.
To the organizers´ nice surprise, the latest initiative was eventually joined by more than 65,000 volunteers who picked and cleaned incredible 1,120 tons of trash (including 16,500 old car tires) all over the country.

If you do these clean-ups too, don´t forget there is the amazing project known as @cleanplanet run on the Steem blockchain that rewards Steemians for such activities. If you are interested in it, visit their blog for more info ;)
