Apocalypse-today - tomorrow ( You never know )
Bitcoin is still considered by many as a "digital gold".
A very clever man and well-known financial expert Jim Chanos
(who "predicted" the ruin of "Enrona" - as, yes is he only predicted !), recently states:
1.“For those who believe that you need to own digital currency as a store of value in the worst-case scenario, that’s
exactly the case in which a digital currency will work the least,”
2."The last thing I want to own is Bitcoin if the net is down."
3."Food would work the best!"
This is an eternal theme that I hope we will not have to check in practice.
It would probably be far from any expectation (from this perspective).
We can imagine a situation where there is nothing.
There is nothing organized,
no transport,
no fuel,
no electricity,
no police, etc.
Who would think of the kind of "the value to be borne"?
Probably - we all!
Jim Chanos is hit to make food worthwhile.
What are basic life needs, we learned long ago.
Jim Chanos would wear something else - firmer ...
Because if the electro energy disappeared - far is Bitcoin.
He forgot to tell for which period of crisis - he thinks.
If the crisis (apocalypse) persisted and life would not be reorganized - what would happen?
supplies of all kinds are questions of all questions.
(food, drinking water, unpolluted atmosphere).
paper banknotes or the right gold would soon become - worthless ( if no supplies ).
If there are no goods - you do not even need a universal commodity - money.
So I think Mr Jim is just wanted to joke.
I think World War II would be a "baby game" opposite Apocalypse ...
We would not need anything, most likely.
And me so think.
