This interesting tidbit was brought to my attention today. It's a common saying that '1984 was not supposed to be an instruction manual' but this is one of so many examples of the very reason that saying exists.
Proverbs 1:4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
Too bad that Native Elder is a well known actor otherwise someone's butt could've really gotten hurt. And 1984 was a Cook Book... to Serve Man ; )
