"Some"? More like "Most"... This behavior has been the norm in Hollywood for decades now (there are news articles from as far back as the mid 1940's talking about this same stuff...), it's just now starting to become public knowledge due to the public finally caring enough to pay attention so it can't just be swept under the rug like it has been for decades now, and this is causing a snowball effect within the industry which will almost certainly chain in scope to beyond just Hollywood (cough politics cough)...
