To find out if heart work is still in a healthy condition or being problematic, the researchers managed to find a unique method that is easy to do by anyone.
The trick is to touch your toes with both hands. If you are able to do so easily, according to researchers, means the heart condition is still in good health.
In the journal Heart and Circulatory Physiology, Tuesday (11/07/2017), explained that by way of testing on one element of the body, in this case is the toe, one can easily know whether the heart is still in a healthy condition or not. Even this way can be done anytime and anywhere without the need to meet certain terms or conditions.
The steps are very easy, you simply sit on the floor with the legs straightened forward and toes facing upwards. After that, try to reach and touch your toes with your hand.
If your body is flexible enough and does not feel any pressure or pain in the chest area when touching your toes, you can be sure the heart is still in good health and not problematic.
But if the pain is actually in the whole muscle in the leg, you are less you are less healthy because it rarely exercise. For that, doing gymnastics or exercising regularly is very important to maintain overall body health.
In the study, researchers from the University of North Texas and some researchers from Japan included 526 participants between the ages of 20 to 83 years. The participants then took the body's flexibility test while measured blood pressure, artery and heart activity. Finally, the researchers found inflexible infertility with inflexible arteries, especially in participants over the age of 40.
Those who fail to test for flexibility by not reaching for the toes have a rigid blood vessel problem. This means the ability of the heart in less good, less effective and the risk of heart disease is also high.
Researchers from Japan Yamamotomenekankan, although initially the theory of the link structure of back muscles with leg muscles close to the heart is still vague. After the study was finally obtained the conclusion that the rigid state of the back muscles, leg muscles and heart vessels do have a connection because it has the same collagen composition.
"If you can touch your toes while sitting and your legs are straightened out, it means that the heart condition is still in good condition. But if you are not able to do it, maybe you need to visit a cardiologist ". Dr. Yamamoto, a researcher from Japan, as quoted from page New York Times.
But at the end of the interview, Yamamoto also said that not always a rigid muscle is linked as a sign of heart disease, perhaps only the heart is in a less healthy and fit than it should be.
