There is more then enough for everyone but they are unwilling to give everybody the opportunity to provide what they need. They're also holding back technology in certain fields of research like energy and healthcare.
They probably are the biggest threat to our, their own and other life on earth's future . IMO the past couple of centuries are an example of very bad management of our planet. Not that the millennia prior were any better. But with the technological development their reach and ability to effect way bigger areas, up to the entire planet, has made the dangers of their mismanagement that much bigger. We have 3 leaking melted down nuclear reactors still leaking radioactive pollution since 2011. They don't really know how to contain them so they just keep silent about them.

you're so right .. and as far as the leaking reactors... they are still spewing into the pacific ocean everyday - thousands of gallons of radioactive waste and the fish and other sea life are being affected - looking like something out of the Simpsons - they wont tell us cause they cant fix it and they don't want us to stop buying sea food - when fish are dead on the shore line and birds are washing up on the beach and radiation levels are elevated - they try too tell us -" Oh - that's just normal nature happening ... nothing to see here ....we would expect to see radiation levels rise over time" ( yeah cause you've radiated the hell out of our planet!)
