The class action filed by investor Ryan Coffey in May this year was dismissed last Saturday, August 11. The plaintiffs did not want the case to be heard before the Federal Supreme Court because a positive ruling would have set a nationwide precedent. However, the U.S. District Court of California has decided not to deal with this case. The action was thus prematurely terminated.
