As for the rest again let me reiterate the Earth isn't flat though it's interesting that the Piri Reis map and Oronteus finaeus map both match the shape of Antartica and depict it with vast forest because Antartica was once a part of Pangea. Not sure what you are talking about in regards to flight path being measured nor am I sure how someone would even accomplish such a feat.
