What's going on in Syria?

(here's a fake picture to trick us all into screaming "something must be done! Won't someone think of the children?")

The Israeli military has been attacking Syria (a sovereign nation) for some nebulous reason like 'being friends with Iran'. Syria defended itself by shooting down a fighter jet that was attacking it, and now Israel is 'retaliating' by attacking Syria. Does anyone see the circular argument here?!

Turkey (a NATO member) is attacking Syria for having some Kurds in it.

The US/UK military is actually IN Syria (a sovereign nation) attempting to re-ignite the Islamist uprising that they had been stoking so successfully until Russia abruptly stopped it last year.

The 'white helmets' (lauded in the Western media as 'the good guys' and created by a British ex-intelligence officer turned 'contractor') have been revealed to be a propaganda tool run by Islamists (ISIS etc) and financed in large part by the UK tax payer.

It's been revealed that much of the Islamist violence that erupted in Syria was (and is continued to be) financed by the US/UK and their Gulf state allies.

The 'chemical weapon attack' blamed on Syria last year (and used by an excuse to increase the violence against it) is being more and more attacked as propaganda and not actually true.

Am I missing anything here? The UK/US are doing their damnedest to create violence, instability, mayhem, terror in a repeat of them doing the same in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya.

All of this is illegal according to International law. The people involved (including Boris Johnson and members of the UK foreign office behind a lot of the violence) should be jailed as war criminals.

We've got to conclude from all this that the UK & US governments are committing EVIL acts. The mainstream media is acting as usual in their role as a neo-colonial propaganda machine (including the 'liberal' left-leaning Guardian), they're using OUR money to do all this....but we are supposed to be scared of Russia, because...you know...they are Russian.

I know instinctively we think we're the good guys, but all I ask is that you look at the actions of the US & UK in the years since 2001, and the horrors these actions have caused. Also look at the fact that the same actions were repeated multiple times in multiple countries with the same outcomes (massive death, destruction and horror). Once MIGHT be an accident, but when you see the same playbook repeated at least FIVE times you've got to conclude - this is deliberate. They are DELIBERATELY causing massive death, destruction and horror (in our name).

Utter madness. How do we stop these continuing acts of evil and violence in our name?
