Teachers and employees of the MPO-affiliated private educational institutions observed a strike on Sunday, along with the hunger strike. In the ongoing third phase, the government's primary school teachers, excluding nationalization, have organized a sit-in program in front of the National Press Club to demand nationalization among these ongoing programs. They say, today will sign symbolic hunger strike on Monday. If they do not get the demand then they will also start the hunger strike.

This year, private primary school students

It was seen in front of the National Press Club yesterday that private primary school teachers, who were excluded from nationalization in the third phase of the main gate, were holding a sit-in program. The program is being celebrated by the banner of Bangladesh Private Primary Teachers Association. Thousands of teachers participated in this. Asked about the association Mamunur Rashid told Prothom Alo that in 2013, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina announced the nationalization of 26 thousand 193 non-government primary schools. According to his declaration, their schools have fulfilled the condition but have not been nationalized. According to them, there are 4,159 such schools. There are 16 thousand 336 teachers in these teachers.

While talking to the president, some of the other teachers said that they were living in a humble way because they did not get the salary. Even before that they organized various programs. But the demands were not fulfilled yet again in the movement. At that time, the president said, today if the demand is not fulfilled after the symbolic hunger strike, start the fasting hunger strike.

On the seventh day hunger strike

On the eve of the main gate of the Press Club yesterday, on the seventh day, the hunger strike was done on national education Liaison Forum. Forum leader Matiur Rahman told Prothom Alo that, on the condition of an hunger strike, another person became ill again. More than 70 teachers have been sick. He said the strike was celebrated yesterday along with the hunger strike in their educational institutions. Nowadays they will give a more aggressive program.

Struggle Committee class boycott

On the other hand, a teacher-worker struggle committee will observe full-day classes excluding programs from all private educational institutions (secondary schools, colleges, madrasa and technical institutions) across the country from Tuesday to January 27 for some demands including nationalization of education. Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Ibtadei Madrasa Teachers Society has sought the intervention of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the nationalization of the I-Tadei branch of Dakhil, Alam, Fazil and Kamil Madrasa.
