The US Navy is working hard on getting a brand new frigate after how many years of neglecting the need for newer vessels. At last a working frigate for my mateys, if this goes to fruition.

It has been a while since we sailed a smaller but packed vessel.

Museum-Frigate

The USS Constitution, a 220-year-old sailing frigate is as old as it can be. It's a museum ship of the US Navy, now used to educate those who are interested to learn her part in both war and peace.

She is also referred to as Old Ironsides. A heavy frigate with wood hull and three masts.

She was built originally for speed, for easy maneuvering. And now we build heavy frigates, packed with a lot of punch.

The FFG(x) Program

The US Navy is now pushing it's sails to fast-track the new frigate program - building a multimission guided-missile frigate. 20 of them.

They are wanting a seasoned plan and design. This will help with the building process. It is a wise strategy, might I say. New fan-dangled spiffy designs are nice but we need a new, working vessel ASAP.

Do you hear me?

If they piddle around, we are stuck with no new vessel. SO, I say

Damn the torpedoes.

Let's get the frigates built.

Sir, if you would consider allowing me to help you burn STEEM from burnpost, I will gladly only flag abuse with any SP you delegate to this account.

Currently, @steemflagrewards has many minnow abuse fighters flagging and commenting on the same post. It would be much better to have one abuse fighter flag and comment explaining the flag. Then I will come behind and take the remaining rewards away with no additional comment.

Ideally, I would need much more to take down some of the bigger abusing vote farms on Steemit.
