Whether you agree or disagree with Alex Jones it's a disgrace. Everyone has a right to freedom of speech unless you advocate violence or hate and despite what the fake news media says he does not preach hatred. I have now closed my YouTube account and intend to close my facebook account. People need to wake up and close their accounts and vote with their feet.
I used to be quite the fan of Jones; he's done a lot of work waking people up to the extent of corruption.
However, whatever you think of him, the prospect of banning his voice from these platforms is a bad precedent. If he, with 10's of millions of listeners can be banished, then anyone else can be banished the same way...
Of course. The only surprise is that it took so long for him to get banned. I promise you he had been expecting this sooner or later
time for him to get on steemit!
Wouldn't be shocked if he started posting on Steemit. I think for now, he'll continue to make Adsense off Google and his website and probably set up a Patreon if he doesnt already have one. Alex has a very large audience and should be fine.
I would not anticipate alex jones joining steemit. He still has a long list of radio affiliates, and direct sells products off his website.
Well I took heed and migrated \ all of my content to steemit. Videos, blogs, and podcasts. As steemit grows, I will use it more and hopefully make a side income from it.

This will make people notice that when you are on a traditional platform owned by someone else and totally centralized, then you are merely a guest and not entitled to be there. Steemit is the future (and a little bit of the present right now).
