Died of Asthma in Malaysian Prison, Welfare Body of Aceh Discharged Today

North Aceh - Muzakkir (43 years), a resident of Gampong Bluka Teubai, Dewantara Regency of North Aceh reportedly died in Kajang Prison, Selangor Malaysia. This information was obtained from Abu Saba, Chairman of Unity of Aneuk Nanggroe Aceh (KANA), an Acehnese community in Malaysia on Wednesday night, August 16, 2018.

According to Abu Saba, information about the death of Muzakkir was obtained from a doctor at a hospital in Kajang Malaysia on Thursday, May 10, 2018, which informed him that there are Acehnese without documents who have died of asthma since Saturday 28/04/2018. Above information, Abu Saba tried to trace it by visiting the hospital and the prison.

As a result, Abu Saba found the bodies of the Acehnese on behalf of Muzakkir there and according to prison authorities that no family party could be contacted by authorities because there was no document owned by the late Muzakkir.

After I make sure the corpse is true Acehnese, I took a photo for me spread on social media with the aim that there is a family party that knows. Alhamdulillah, finally there was the family who contacted and submitted the documents for follow-up arrangements for the return of the corpse, Abu Saba said.

According to Abu Saba, the process of handling for the return of the corpse has been completed and the plan, the body of the deceased Muzakkir will be dispatched to Aceh via Kuala Namu Airport, North Sumatra, today (17/5/2018). Furthermore, by ambulance will take the road to Dewantara, North Aceh.

As for the cost of returning the remains to Aceh, Abu Saba revealed the cost of 4,800 Malaysian ringgit is a donation from Yayasan Vihara Murni Sakti, Idi Rayeuk, East Aceh District through KANA Group. As for the cost of ambulance from Medan to Aceh Utara sourced from Dewantara Camat and Keuchik Gampong Bluka Teubai.
