RE: So here you are new to steemit, waiting for SOMEONE to notice you!!!

Excellent to hear from you. At the moment I do not use any of the chat services but will be getting on that shortly. If you would like to go into my comments, I just sent @davemccoy a message outlining some of the things I'd like to do. In regards to quality content, we are on the same page. Ideally I'd like a group of founders who pass recommendations on to me to vote on if I were to have any steem power delegated. Each founder would ideally be in charge of finding those new users who have quality posts under a certain tag or category that they are strong in. I.e an artist for art, writer for writing, tech for tech, etc. As we are in early days this seems the best way to go about it. Eventually I'd like founders to start subcommittees which vote on these posts and the vote is relayed through the founder on those promising posts... But that's further down the road. I have no problem resteeming and providing advice to new members producing sub par content IF they are showing promise of growing. If Steemit is one thing, it's a platform that encourages growth in our creative ability. All of us who do create and been here for more than 6 months have all grown from it. But voting is another matter, especially if I'm entrusted to vote for the benefit of Steemit and it's new arrivals. This initiative is less than three days old, but it is something I have thought about for a while now. If you could look into the comment I sent @davemccoy it lines out much more as far as where it could go. Any thoughts you have, concepts you can bring to the table, feed back in general would be gladly welcome.

I have read the comment to dave and i must say you are a busy bee, I will definitely be gathering some ideas for you...I am going to figure out what I can do to help in any way. I am still learning myself, so bare with me. I think the website idea is a good one, and as you said that's in the future, but the way things seem to go around here, it could be in the very near future.
