RE: So here you are new to steemit, waiting for SOMEONE to notice you!!!

Hello @mudcat36 I am excited to see where this can take us. As I told @davemccoy I spoke with someone through discord chat that said there are many others looking for delegation, and to get it we would need to emphasize what the guidelines were, so that we aren't promoting just any kind of post, he said we should explain that to be resteemed the post needs to be quality posts, which I'm sure that is the plan for yourself, as it is my plan, I want to see those people who are truly wanting to grow the platform and not just for monetary gain, but are here for a greater purpose, whether it be to teach others or simply show the humanity in their hearts, but i digress. I would love to bounce ideas back and forth with you, do you use any of the chat features, if you do let me know so we can get this ball rolling. I am so glad I went and checked out what our dear friend dave was up to on his blog had I not, I wouldn't have seen your post. I love the idea, and am eager to help in any way necessary! Thank you for getting in touch so quickly, looking forward to hearing from you @mudcat36 until then enjoy the rest of your day/night...

Excellent to hear from you. At the moment I do not use any of the chat services but will be getting on that shortly. If you would like to go into my comments, I just sent @davemccoy a message outlining some of the things I'd like to do. In regards to quality content, we are on the same page. Ideally I'd like a group of founders who pass recommendations on to me to vote on if I were to have any steem power delegated. Each founder would ideally be in charge of finding those new users who have quality posts under a certain tag or category that they are strong in. I.e an artist for art, writer for writing, tech for tech, etc. As we are in early days this seems the best way to go about it. Eventually I'd like founders to start subcommittees which vote on these posts and the vote is relayed through the founder on those promising posts... But that's further down the road. I have no problem resteeming and providing advice to new members producing sub par content IF they are showing promise of growing. If Steemit is one thing, it's a platform that encourages growth in our creative ability. All of us who do create and been here for more than 6 months have all grown from it. But voting is another matter, especially if I'm entrusted to vote for the benefit of Steemit and it's new arrivals. This initiative is less than three days old, but it is something I have thought about for a while now. If you could look into the comment I sent @davemccoy it lines out much more as far as where it could go. Any thoughts you have, concepts you can bring to the table, feed back in general would be gladly welcome.

I have read the comment to dave and i must say you are a busy bee, I will definitely be gathering some ideas for you...I am going to figure out what I can do to help in any way. I am still learning myself, so bare with me. I think the website idea is a good one, and as you said that's in the future, but the way things seem to go around here, it could be in the very near future.
