One thing that I deal with some acquittances (insert any one I could be working with) and when I try to jump ship on a matter that they’re completely clueless on, they look deafly. One of this topics is applying philosophy practically. Now when I say philosophy, I mean to include military doctrine to figuring out how one can live their life (different from lifestylism) to even general philosophy. Now why is it hard for them, because often than not people don’t respect or understand their material conditions they live in and often make fluster out of it. So I often have to calm them down and correct them in their error to see where they done wrong. To which a while later, after learning self-critique and learning from the world, they can just start applying philosophy practically - which they should’ve been there a while ago. I only say some is because I often nowadays teach self-critique and practical-criticality (praxis) perspectives along with my lessons on applying philosophy practically. It saves both them and I a lot of trouble and time, to say the least.

On the note of what used to be difficult in the past but now seems rather dumb that it was hard to bein with in the past, I once had a problem with installing game modifications. Back when I was a wee lad, I didn’t get the many generalized directions and took them literally most of the time. I often rewatched videos to get weirded out that their installation directory was different from mines, with any games, and I just wanted a quick and dirty way to install game mods easier. Finally it came to me that most installations guides were just generalized instructions and each directory is different from the other. With that knowledge, I began to install mods better and better over time. But I still have a problem with complex mods that require multiple installations from multiple parts in a specific order. Not only that, but some mods that use installers to drop a mod into I have trouble just making it work - like they couldn’t more vague to users on how to install shit. And there’s some that requires changing to config of the game to make it work! (I’m still learning the complex maze that is mod installation - so it’s still weird to me and I have to rely on guides still for seeming complex mod installations.)
