The first 2-3 months of steemit for me really felt like a tough but rewarding experience but since running into @mudcat36 and @davemccoy and seeing how the #newbieresteemday initiative has lead to this point things have been smooth sailing and very enjoyable. Not only has my participation helped to re-connect me with many people that I first crossed paths with in those early months (like @beeyou) but it has also provided me with the confidence and support to start my own initiatives - and I am sure there will be many more to follow because of it!
