HAVE A NICE SUNDAY
But do you know about its orign ? What is the #first #day of the week !
Sunday is the day of the week after Saturday but before Monday. Sunday is a day of rest in most Western countries, as a part of the weekend.

For most observant Christians, Sunday is observed as a day of worship and rest, holding it as the Lord's Day and the day of Christ's resurrection. In some Muslim countries and Israel, Sunday is the first work day of the week

We have generally delivered our retrogressive schedule with the week beginning on a Monday, which is the standard configuration in the UK, however in the USA it is typical to have date-books beginning the week on a Sunday – which is right?

The short answer is it involves decision and custom however here are a few considerations we found…

Saturday and Sunday are for the most part know as "the end of the week", so if Sunday is the finish of the week it must begin on a Monday

A great many people don't deal with a Sunday so Monday is their first working day of the week

Scriptural references allude to the Sabbath being the day of rest toward the finish of the week yet that day can be either Sunday or Saturday in various religions.

In the Middle East, the week is considered to begin on a Saturday

In Portuguese, the names for the days are really numbers, so Monday is "Segunda-feira" – alluding to the second day of the week, or the week beginning on a Sunday

Russian uses the name "second" for Tuesday, demonstrating that they view Monday as the principal day of the week

Sunday is the main day of the week in Australia

In international standard ISO-8601 the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has decreed that Monday shall be the first day of the week.
