RE: My Girls - Trying to Help Them Get Started on Steemit

in #new7 years ago

Thanks for the mention and thanks for letting me know. Steemit can be really weird, awkward and discouraging sometimes. Especially for new people. The best advice I can give you, or them, or anyone, is to be as active as possible an interact with as many people as possible. And I'm not talking about trying to comment on well established authors articles 31 times per day. In all honesty, it's probably easier to find others to communicate with, than the established authors. Many established authors doesn't seem to pay much attention to the comments they get, which I personally think it's a bit disappointing.

I completely agree on several points. Interaction is definately going to be how they get going. I think the lack of response when they replied on some posts. Which, I don't really understand because I think interacting on my comments is more fun than writing a post! I'll continue to encourage them. Thanks so much for taking time to help me out!
