You still have to follow copyright rules. You are trying to earn money on other people's work. That's not okay.

Yes. I also know that it's pathetic to try to make money by posting the work of other people. Try creating something original instead.

LOL... technically anyone who posts on this thread would be makine money, including the one calling the OPer out. I think the more Steemit grows, you'll see posts about anything and everything, regardless of what others say about copyright law. Consider this, you say he shouldn't post this because he's making money off of someone else's work. So that means any time you share any youtube vid, news story, etc, they'd be doing the same? Is it ok for users to share stories and make no money, yet FB, Twitter, or any other mainstream social media platforms make billions on this. Not all content on ANY social media platform will be original content. Many people share news, images and vids all day, every day all over the internet. Steemit is no different.
