So much of what happens in business, and the world in general, is the result of networks, and networking. What we know is never as important as WHO we know. This is a universal truth. Within the universe of MLM, so much is going the wrong direction. Where I always start is the fact that most people are just joining programs, but no one is actually telling these people 'what' they are joining.
For this reason, 'what' they are joining, isn't really standing up, like it should. Why would it? The people who join don't Value the network. They have no respect for the person that introduced them to the concept, the company, or whatever. There is also, so often, no respect coming from the 'top' either. This issue, prompted me to start talking about Respecting Networks, several years ago.
Networks Matter; especially when it comes to MLM.... Black Networks Matter -
Success in this type of business model, is all about 'who you know'. Do you have people you can count on? Can you move and build with a handful of people?
Most of us would say Hell yea, but the REALITY is - many of us cannot!
Yep, finding just 3 to 5 people that you can move with, is difficult to do. Especially in today's environment.
Check out the latest 'episode' on our Channel from #TopNetworkersGroup addressing WHY Black Networks Matter; in our usual, no bullshit mode, I talk about the reality of 'succeeding' in network marketing. Black people have to be 'real' about where we are economically, and be willing to work with one another to 'build' the level of wealth that we are after.
Interesting article and video. I always like to get the perspective and thoughts of others when it comes to networking. Thanks for sharing and broadening my own knowledge.
thanks for the kind words, and for taking the time to comment -
