The truth is that sometimes having great actors in the cast do not give assurance of how a movie will be, in general it has a good address but I have already told you my opinion, first:

The argument

Malorie, the protagonist (Sandra Bullock); find a way to survive for a while the chaos that is happening on earth, after a series of arguments he learns that a group of survivors are after a river, which sails with two children with eyes completely blind fleeing " the creatures ", which reach the planet earth and transform the fears of humans into behaviors that ultimately lead to suicide. It all started when Malorie goes to the hospital because she is pregnant, at this moment the "virus of the creatures" was barely in Europe but she notices that she has arrived in the USA, very scared she tells her sister Jess "they are here" without knowing what to do they take a car and they leave, but Jess is contaminated and crashes the vehicle where they were going, without getting killed then finds a way to do it in front of Malorie's eyes who runs scared and falls, is taken by some people and they get To the house of a neighbor where he begins his fight to survive, it is necessary to emphasize that the virus does not seem to affect the bad people of the head or crazy people. I'm not an expert, but this is my criticism, the truth is that the movie keeps watching you, it's entertaining; but the context did not convince me, that is, in films like "The end of time" make a brief explanation of what is happening; that the plants are the ones that are causing people to kill themselves en masse due to chemical substances that they release, in this movie Bird Box the truth does not explain anything, there is only a "something" that persecutes them and that they can not see, I feel that I lack a bit more context because I was left with the intrigue that it was that like many of those who saw the movie with me, another thing that I do not like is that it has many blank spaces between some scenes that I'm going To stop homework get them because I do not want to do spoilers, Malorie surfs a river for more than two days without rest to reach a site that does not know where it is because he can not see and has no idea, because he was only told that at the end of He laughed, something that seemed a bit inconclusive because he really has no explanation, the end is very open, does not say much; some have a theory that says that everything is a metaphor, but I think that to be a metaphor I should have something in the film that indicates it or that makes us think about it and I did not seem to see anything about it; In fact, it seems to me a bit overdone:

According to what I read the enigma behind the creatures that was what most seek is that they symbolize depression something that most people have gone through in times of difficulty in our lives, birds represent hope and memories that should be protected , and that they are blind represents the struggle of people for depression which have the birds (memories and hopes) to move forward and the end is like the tunnel light of people who have fought against suicide and depression, What do you think?
