Netflix is a popular past time. Subscribers of the service enjoy the variety of shows and movies that are offered. With that in mind, Netflix has been able to collect data regarding viewing habits.
On average, UK subscribers watched an average of 60 films in 2017. An unidentified user, however, decided to use the service to stream the popular animated movie, "Bee Movie" 357 times.
That is almost once a day. If we are to calculate this, Bee Movie is an hour and 35 minutes long or 95 minutes. 95 minutes times 357 viewings 33915 minutes or 565.25 hours. If this user has decided to watch this movie nonstop, that would be roughly 23.5 days.
Netflix had also found that someone had watched "Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl" 365 days in a row and another user had watched "Lord the Rings: Return of the Dead King" 361 times (This would be the extended version has that is the only version available on the Canadian Netflix).
Calculating the totals...
"Curse of the Black Pearl": 142 minutes (movie length) x 365 times = 51830 minutes or 863 hours or about 36 days
"The Return of the King": 251 minutes (movie length) x 361 times = 90611 minutes or 1510 hours or about 62.9 days.
It is uncertain what the motivations behind their impressive feats are but hopefully they believe it was time well spent.
