Picture this: it's 7 o'clock in the evening, and the sun has dipped below the horizon, casting a cool, dark atmosphere over Munduk village. I find myself at EcoCafé2, a quaint bamboo restaurant nestled in the main street of Munduk. The eco-friendly vibes, with wooden chairs and bamboo décor, instantly catch my eye.
I settle in with my friend, the only other guests in the restaurant at the time. It's peaceful, allowing us to unwind after a long journey. Our waiter, Kadek, warmly greets us and takes our order.
However, the food takes a bit longer to arrive, giving me the chance to take in the surroundings. I observe the cozy interior of the restaurant and the unique features of its surroundings.
Finally, our dinner arrives, just as some other guests from France enter the restaurant. While they converse in French, my friend and I enjoy our meal in silence, appreciating the peaceful atmosphere.
I opt for a simple meal of rice and mixed vegetables. The food arrives hot and delicious, filling my stomach and energizing me for the evening ahead. Despite being famished, I savor every bite, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the restaurant.
