Our Photo Competition Hit The Steemit Trending Page!
We are more than ecstatic that once again something that we're doing in Neoxian City has hit trending.
You heard that right. Neoxian Photo Competition hit Steemit's very own trending page with a mahoosive upvote of $30. It's really nice to see people actively engaging with this.
We started off with just a few members entering in each week, but now there are quite a few. Keep the trend going I'd say.

The Guild of Neoxian has levelled up to 9 in Splinterlands
Just one level away from the highest level in the game. The guild of neoxian most recently levelled up to a level 9, taking us to rank #7 in the entire game.
Thanks to several of our members freely donating their DEC to our guild hall we were able to make a last minute dash to the finishline for level 9 last season.
We are of course short of 1 member, and if you're serious about your Splinterlands gaming as we are then why don't you apply within? Details can be found in our Discord server here

Outstanding Citizen award
Trainee Dragon @raymondspeaks has taken it upon himself to offer his 10% earnings reward at the end of Sunday night, and merge it into an honour which can be bestowed on city dwellers for going above and beyond the call of duty. Make no mistake, this is an award that will be given to people for helping, sharing and giving, rather than taking and selling.
The prize will be no less than 1000 staked neoxag but will grow as he grows in stake power. Outstanding citizen will also get a daily upvote from him for an entire week
This award cannot be earned, it can only be given -- by that it means you can nominate someone, but you cannot vote for yourself. If no Citizens are chosen then the pool will roll over to the following week.
This weeks winner is @shoemanchu for being a most excellent citizen.
His most notable actions this week were:
- Giving away lots of (and often expensive) splinterlands cards in giveaways
- Being a most excellent citizen!

Neoxian City holds fire on Dtube
If you haven't already then I suggest you check out our Dtube competition which runs weekly.
Last weeks love competition was tricky! We had a lot of entries and it was equally as tough to judge. Thankfully we reached a decision an entire day later. Results to come out soon.
This week we will be tackling lessons learned!

We have given out well over $312.75 in giveaways on our discord
Every day City owners & members alike will give away some of their coins or services to lucky winners in our discord. We have a rule that every giveaway must amount to over $0.25 in value.
So far, we have given out 1251 giveaways at the very least $0.25 and that amounts to $312.75 -- although the actual value is probably WAY higher. Mosr people give out a couple of dollars each giveway.
This has been a really good week for giveaways. There have been days when five giveaways have been played in a row; large sums of sbi tokens have been gifted, expensive splinterlands cards have been given away, neoxag stake filled, and massive votes from the dragons

This is an artwork I chose to curate for several reasons. First of all, it's an amazing piece of art, this artist is super talented and therefore deserves extra attention to this post. It's also something that I know all too well, drawing or painting or even writing can be so therapeutic. Thanks to @neoxian much appreciated for all you do for the community, as well as for me and thank you for Dragon status, blessed. Also let's give mad props to @zaku too, for all you do for the city. Let's give thanks to everyone working hard for the city too. I believe that this is the city and we will keep striving to be the best community here. Also thank you to all of our citizens, I find it pretty dang cool that if someone is having a bad day or whatever is going on in our lives, that we can vent, get mad, let out our frustrations or just let out our love for what we do for one another to be very intriguing and helpful in our everyday lives. When I get mad, you guys totally make things better and I find myself smiling our laughing due to someone in our community.
