For those who haven't seen it, Inleo has put forth a new proposal to the DHF to help fund the next year of partnerships, collaborations, and marketing campaigns they want to use to continue onboarding new established communities to Hive. The initial success of the DASH integration has opened the doors to many other blockchain communities which could benefit from attaching themselves to Inleo and Hive .
In reading the comments already gathering under the posted proposal, I was once again struck by some of the negativity coming from long-time Hivians. While I agree there should probably be a better tracking system for how the benchmarks of this/these proposals are performing, it just seems like there is always hostility from the Hive side when it comes to Inleo and what it's doing.
The DHF has literally spent millions of dollars over the years on projects/marketing/movies that have barely moved the needle, if at all. In the meantime, @Khal has used his own time and money to try (and fail) a half dozen times to build things designed to make Hive a simpler, more accessible place to the rest of the cryptosphere. But he keeps coming back. He owns his mistakes, learns from them, and goes back to work more determined than ever to succeed.
That success is in sight. They have now built a living, breathing organism that has captured the attention of some of the oldest, most well-established blockchain communities in existence. And the first iteration is working!
This isn't some fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants community that is being built. It is truly a full-fledged EVERYTHING app built on the Hive blockchain. Threads, videos, shorts, wallets, DEXes, AI, you name it, it's either here or it's coming. The pieces are in place and the tech keeps getting better every day. Combined with what the Hive devs are doing with HAF, 3SPK, et al, the infrastructure continues to get more and more robust, allowing people like Khal and Inleo to build what they are building ON THE HIVE BLOCKCHAIN.
This is what we want. People using Hive to its fullest potential. Breaking out of the cute-little-blockchain-that-could, forked-away-from-the-big-bad-wolf story, and pushing the envelope to show its true potential, while thrusting its way into the masses. Inleo is that app!
When I got married, I asked some married friends about timing on having kids because I was worried I wouldn't be able to pay for everything that goes with them. They told me that there was NEVER a perfect time. If you want them, have them, and you'll figure it out. They were right. I did.
We're at that point with this blockchain. Inleo is that child, with a chance to go global. If we want Hive and Inleo to become household names, we need to get those names out there and support them. This should be a no-brainer in my mind. Flesh out the proposal, look for some agreed-upon measuring tools to chart the progress, and LFG!!!
If history serves, we're about to go on a ridiculous bull run and Hive has a chance to be right in the thick of it. Hell, if things go right, it could very well be front and center. Fortune favors the bold. Let's get it done.
